Detailed Comparison

Alright, so these are the budget OLED TVs and I reckon the Hisense A6N is the better value. You're getting 65 inches of OLED for under $2k, which is a bargain. The picture is proper OLED black levels, the colour is nice, and the motion handling is smooth. The brightness isn't insane, but it's adequate for most rooms. The TCL S5400A is 55 inches, which is a smaller screen, and it's trying to be fancy with its QD-LED panel. But the Hisense OLED is going to beat it on pure picture quality. The blacks are better on the Hisense, the response time is better, and the screen is bigger. The TCL doesn't even reach the same brightness as the Hisense. If you've got the space for 65 inches, the Hisense wins on size and picture. The TCL is cheaper, which is its only real advantage. But you're paying less for a smaller screen with worse picture. That's not value, that's just being small. Both TVs are fine, both have smart TV platforms that work. But the Hisense is the one that makes sense. You get OLED at an entry price, you get 65 inches, and the picture is proper impressive.
