Detailed Comparison
The Dyson Hot+Cool HP07 is a statement piece. It's beautiful, it's bladeless, it heats and cools, and it costs about $700. The DeLonghi Dragon 4 is a traditional fan heater that costs about $200 and does basically the same job of heating a room. I'll be upfront: the DeLonghi is the better value. Does it look as cool? Nope. Does it heat your room just as effectively? Absolutely. The Dyson has better oscillation, the design is genius, and it's quieter when running. But that's a $500 difference we're talking about. For that money, you could buy the DeLonghi, a space heater, and a nice fan separately. The DeLonghi has a dial (not a remote), so you're walking over to it to adjust temperature, which is annoying in 2026. The Dyson remote is classy. Both heaters are safe, both have thermostats, both work fine. The Dyson is genuinely engineered better and the Japanese build quality on the DeLonghi is solid too. If money isn't an issue and you want the nicest heater you can buy, Dyson. If you're rational about your heating budget, DeLonghi wins.Buying in Australia
