Not everyone needs or wants OLED. If you're after brilliant brightness, lower prices, and TVs that handle well-lit rooms without glare, QLED and premium LED are genuinely great choices. Samsung's QLED stuff is excellent - their mini-LED backlighting actually gets close to OLED contrast in a lot of scenes, and they're brighter to boot.
Here's the honest truth though: QLED's marketing is a bit much. It's basically just LED with quantum dots for better colour. Does it work? Yeah, it does. Is it worth the premium over regular LED?
