At that price point it is hard to argue with for buyers who want to start tracking weight trends with body composition data without spending $150+ on a Withings or Garmin.

You stand on the scale, wait three seconds, and it syncs your weight, body fat percentage, muscle mass, bone mass, and water percentage to your phone via Bluetooth. The Renpho Health companion app graphs your progress over time and exports data to Apple Health and Google Health Connect. Multi-user recognition handles up to 8 users in the same household automatically.

Accuracy: weight measurement is genuinely good (within 100-200g across multiple weigh-ins, consistent enough for trend tracking). Body composition (the bioelectrical impedance metrics) is competent but not clinical-grade. Body fat percentage is within ±5 percentage points of a clinical DEXA scan; the trend over weeks and months is more useful than the absolute number on any given day. This is true of every consumer smart scale, not just the Renpho.

Build is what you would expect at this price: tempered glass top, plastic body, four AAA batteries (included). Battery life is 6-12 months of typical use. Weight capacity is 180kg. The scale needs a hard, level surface; soft carpet defeats it.
